Menopause & Metabolic Care
M² CARE
An ObGyn-led, evidence-based metabolic care pathway featuring medically-assisted weight loss for perimenopausal and menopausal women.
FRAMING THE PROBLEM
It is not a failure of willpower. It is biological.
In perimenopause and menopause, weight gain is rarely about excess calories alone. It reflects hormonal transition, altered appetite signalling, rising insulin resistance, and the loss of lean muscle mass.
- Quieting the "Food Noise"
Many women describe a constant mental preoccupation with food, often unfairly labelled as a lack of discipline. This is food noise: persistent internal signals driven by oestrogen decline, sleep disturbance, and insulin resistance.
Targeted medical therapy, when used thoughtfully under specialist care, helps quiet this food noise. It allows the mind to relearn satiety and the body to respond to healthier habits.

The 6-Month Reset
The 6-month timeframe is intentional. It is not chosen for speed, but for metabolic retraining. By 6 months, our clinical goals include:
≥ 10%
Total body weight loss & waist reduction.
Preserve
Protect lean muscle mass through guided resistance training.
Reduce
Lower visceral fat & improve cardiometabolic risk markers.
Improve
Better energy, sleep, joint comfort, and symptom tolerance.
Retraining the Mind & Habits
The goal is not to eat less forever, but to help your brain feel satisfied again. Over 6 months, we work to restore trust in your hunger cues and break guilt-reward eating cycles.
Protein-First Eating
Becomes an effortless routine, paired with fibre and hydration.
Supportive Movement
Movement feels supportive, avoiding high-cortisol overtraining.
Becomes familiar and empowering, not intimidating.
Movement feels supportive, avoiding high-cortisol overtraining.
In midlife, weight loss is not about shrinking the body. It is about restoring metabolic dignity.
